Rope specifications and certifications
Unicore technology permanently bonds the core to the sheath: if the sheath is damaged it stays in place instead of slipping (sock effect), letting you finish a pitch or an abseil safely. The Dry Cover treatment protects the sheath from moisture and abrasion, and the Thermo Fluid heat treatment homogenises the fibres for a smoother, more durable rope.

The world's first 100% recycled rope
The Nexis CC yarn used in the Sunrise is produced by chemically recycling used tyres: 1.53 kg of CO2 per kg of polyamide, versus 6.97 kg for traditional polyamide. The rope itself is 100% recyclable at the end of its life, and Beal plants a tree for every rope sold.
A dynamic rope for sport climbing
At 9.2 mm and 57 g/m, the Sunrise sits in the versatile thin-rope category: ideal for sport climbing, repeated attempts on projects and long days at the crag. The 80 m length covers the long pitches that have become standard at many major crags in France and Spain.
Made in France by Beal, in the Rhône valley.
