This guide, devoted to modern multi-pitch sport and trad routes, completes the editorial project on climbing in Ticino, begun with the volume devoted to the crags (Ticino Rock Falesie, Versante Sud Editore, 2024). The Ticino region, besides interesting crags, in fact offers magnificent routes on some of the best granite in the Alps, a variety of climbing and a mild climate that also makes it popular with climbers from neighbouring regions north of the Alps. The book, expanded and updated, was produced by the same authors as the crag guide, very active protagonists on the rocks of Ticino, just a stone's throw from home, where they have opened and free-climbed numerous routes, including very hard ones. Networking with local climbers, they were able to gather up-to-date and often previously unpublished information, thus ensuring the guide's reliability. The book is rounded out with a few written contributions by the authors themselves, recounting personal experiences on the rocks of Ticino, as well as interviews with important figures in Ticino climbing.
