FRIULI E TERRE DI CONFINE

This guidebook presents the climbing areas of Friuli-Venezia Giulia and neighbouring Slovenia. It tells the mountaineering heritage of the region, rooted in the work of climbers such as Comici and Carlesso, who made the Val Rosandra and Dardago their training grounds. The volume offers countless crags, often enchanting and of varied sizes, suited to both beginners and more experienced climbers. Among the places described are the overhangs of Erto, the crags of the Friulian Dolomites Park, the limestone crag of Avostanis, the Costiera and the Napoleonica of Trieste, as well as the Slovenian temples of Osp, Mišja Peč and Črni Kal. This is the second edition, the result of extensive fieldwork carried out with local route developers and the local climbing community.
