Salto S

Salto S is an all-round carabiner by Climbing Technology, made from lightweight alloy and fitted with a straight gate, designed for mountaineering and general sport climbing.

It shares the Salto family's “snag free” design — rounded, edge-free profiles that prevent accidental snagging — here with a straight gate for precise, easy rope clipping. A 20 mm gate opening keeps it quick to use in any conditions.

At 44 g and with a major-axis strength of 23 kN, certified to EN 12275:2013-B, it's the straight-gate sibling of the Salto B (bent gate), for climbers who prefer the classic straight opening.
