The province of Brescia has a mountainous territory without limits: the Adamello with its great masses of granite, the limestone and dolomite areas of the centre-south, three lakes, four valleys with countless small and large walls scattered here and there on the slopes. The guide presents 3630 routes spread across the Adamello massif, Lake Garda and Lake Iseo, exploring sites of historical importance for the Italian free-climbing movement of the 1980s, notably Monte Maddalena and the Cava di Virle. The book highlights lesser-known crags, frequented mostly by local climbers, with the notable exception of the Valle dell'Opol, on Lake Iseo.
