VARESE E CANTON TICINO - Falesie

In this third edition, devoted solely to the crags, the author of the previous one, Davide Mazzucchelli, has been joined by Matteo Della Bordella, a great connoisseur of Swiss rock and already the author of the book Arrampicare in Svizzera, which presents hundreds of multi-pitch routes in the central cantons. The guide, expanded and updated, offers a wide choice of bolted crags in one area, that of the Ticino region, which offers excellent crags, of interest not only for the beauty of the rock and the variety of climbing, but also for the mild climate that characterises them and makes them popular also with climbers from neighbouring regions north of the Alps. A full chapter devoted to the crags of the province of Varese rounds out the book, which also offers some portraits of notable figures or stories in the climbing history of these territories.
