FREERIDING IN THE DOLOMITES - ENG

Freeride in Dolomiti brings together a selection of the most interesting routes in the central-eastern Dolomites, over an area stretching from the Marmolada to the valleys around the Sella, as far as the Falzarego pass and the Cortina d'Ampezzo basin. This third edition (after those of 2004 and 2009) offers updated routes with new photographs and variations, as well as previously unpublished lines. A chapter is devoted to a multi-day freeride traverse from San Martino di Castrozza to Cortina d'Ampezzo, a week-long hut-to-hut route favoring descents over ascents. The guide features 175 routes and variations, plus a Freeride Ski Safari, covering in particular the Marmolada, Arabba, the Sassolungo, the Sella, Alta Badia, the Lagazuoi, the Cinque Torri, the Tofane, the Faloria and the Cristallo.
