LARIO ROCK - PARETI - ed. 2022

The heart of climbing in Lecco, but also of a good part of that in Milan and the towns of the plain south of Lake Como, beats precisely on the large and small walls of the Grigne, whose routes sometimes reach 600 metres of verticality. It is here that, for almost a century, mountaineers of the calibre of Ratti and Cassin made a decisive contribution to the modern conception of rock climbing and mountaineering. This guide lists the multi-pitch routes of this massif overlooking the town of Lecco and, together with Lario Rock – Falesie, constitutes a technical and historical point of reference for understanding and the evolution of climbing on the walls around the Lario.
