TURBOCHEST – CAMP

The CAMP Turbochest is a compact, lightweight chest ascender for ascending ropes. It features a stainless steel roller system (patented) that reduces friction on the rope, makes progress easier and limits wear on both the rope and the device.

Its geometry is designed for traverses, with a reduced accordion effect between the device and the rope. The investment-cast stainless steel cam is designed for descending with alternating release, and drain holes in the cam and the body prevent mud and dirt from building up. The opening lever with removable pull cord and the large opening are easy to handle, even with gloves.

The Turbochest can also be used as a self-locking pulley, for gear recovery only (maximum load 50 kg).
